The most charming mare Pila, a daughter of our homebred stallion Abyad AA, was the highest-selling lot at the 2026 Pride of Poland Sale last weekend. This beautiful black/bay mare was sold for €160,000 to Belgium.
Abyad AA, a Straight Egyptian stallion sired by Nader Al Jamal (Ansata Sinan × Savannah CC) out of Al Amal AA (Halim Shah I × The Vision HG), was leased to Janów Podlaski Stud at just nine months of age by its then director, Mr. Marek Trela. Abyad AA went on to stand at Janów for several breeding seasons, where he proved to be a very successful sire for the stud. His influence can still be seen today through his descendants, and Pila’s success at the 2026 Pride of Poland Sale is another wonderful example of the legacy he left in Poland.
